We are seeking tw enterprising people to fill the following position; Chief Accountant Reporting to the Finance Manager The Chief Accountant is responsible for proper management of the book of acc efficient tax planning, day to day cash management, development of the finan operating plan to meet the agreed finan strategy and deputizing the Finance Ma in running the department. Responsibilities Act as principal assistant to the Finance Manager Implement internal financial controls acr functions in the Company to ensure compliance to internal procedures, finan polices & standards, and statutory financial regulations Responsible for the preparation of the financial and management reports and r keeping by the finance team Financial analysis of the business and g operating information to identify trends opportunities for development to ensure business developments are financially vi Capital management by ensuring optimiz of available cash & liquidity require with optimal returns Responsible for the budgeting and plan process Responsible for tax compliance and liais with tax authority and advisers Review and approve payables, treasury sections and bank transactions Coordinate internal and external financi tax audits. Qualifications and Experience Minimum Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting CPA (K) or ACCA A member of ICPAK Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position.
