This position will promote safety awaren by overseeing all aspects of Health & S and ensuring prompt and accurate investigation, recording and taking corre actions. Key Responsibilities • Participate in formulating, reviewing implementing occupational safety & heal strategies, policies, norms, guidelines an procedures. • Ensure the company complies with relevant laws governing health & safety keep necessary documentation in place. • Plan and execute periodical health safety audits, risk assessments and spo checks and prepare necessary reports a documents for external audits. • Participate in accident/incident investigations and follow up on impleme of preventative and corrective actions. • Plan, organize and implement releva occupational safety and health activities programs that enhance a safe work cult • Provide expert advice and support safety & health issues to internal stakeholders. • Conducting and/or organizing indust safety and health training for company employees. • Monitor staff compliance to health a safety requirements and monitoring stoc of safety and health equipment. • Implement processes to reduce the number of injuries occurring. • Maintain daily recording data of saf incidents, accidents, illnesses and near misses, and maintain the weekly, monthl quarterly and annual and provide report management. Minimum Qualifications and experience • A Bachelor’s Degree from a recogni university with professional Training in Occupational Health safety or equivalen qualification. • A Post-graduate diploma in safety management a plus • Registration with the Directorate of Occupational Safety and Health Service (DOSHS) preferred • Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience • Strong organizational skills, attentio detail and prompt in reporting. • Assertive and team player with goo interpersonal and communication skills.
