Risk Officer Job Vacancy in Kenya

Jamii Sacco Society based in Nairobi is seeking to recruit qualified Kenya Citizens to fill the following position:

Risk Officer III M15 
One Position

Job Summary
The position is involved in Risk Management by ensuring that the Sacco operations are closely monitored to avert any risk.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assist the Risk Officer II to implement best practice of the Sacco’s Risk Management Strategy and programs.
• Assist the Risk officer to confirm compliance to all the Sacco policies and procedures.
• To verify loan applications forms to confirm adherence to loan policy.
• To verify vouchers and recommend for approval or payment.
• To verify the monthly payroll to confirm compliance to the existing Human Resource manual.
• To check and verify goods and services delivered by contractors.
• To verify the Sacco’s cash at strong room and Tellers.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by a Senior Officer.

Qualifications:

• Possession of KCSE O-LEVEL Grade C with credit in Maths and English language.
• CPA I or Diploma in Accounts
• Computer Literacy
• Three years experience.
• Minimum Age- 25 years
