Operations Supervisor Job Vacancy (Salary 50,000)

Our client is an organization that is seeking to recruit an Operations Supervisor for their organization that is in the oil and gas industry.

Job Requirements

• Under general supervision receives established instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on wellsite activity
• Performs basic duties at the wellsite and at the shop
• Learns about servicing mechanical devices, building logging cableheads, building perforating cableheads and tool maintenance
• Able to rig up and down wellsite equipment
• Develops hoisting skills in different situations such as fishing operations, coring operations, testing operations vertical tool make-up and in deviated wells
• Drives company vehicles in a safe manner, observing all Company and government regulations and arrive at well site or other designated destination at scheduled time
• Participates actively in quality improvement efforts with respect to ballistics operations
• Promotes and maintains good customer relations
• Carries out all required responsibilities safely as described in Managing Base Operations, Managing Well Operations and Managing Equipment and Logistics manuals
• Performs other related duties as required
• Conducts all business activities in accordance with our HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Core Values

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Heavy duty truck license a must
• Industry experience and product line training required
• Should have a bit of technical knowledge and experience as a mechanic
• Driving a folk lift is an added advantage
• Good mechanical aptitude
• General knowledge of basic oil and gas industry
• Ability to work well and communicate well with others
• They should have a good command in English
• Computer literacy is an added advantage
• They should be physically fit
• They should have prior experience in handling and carrying machines
