The income generated supports AMREF’ work, in particularly the Outreach Progr and Charity Evacuations. We are seeking to fill the following posit AMREF Flying Doctors. The position is based in Nairobi and rep the Chief Pilot Key Duties and Responsibilities Flying AMREF missions which include out flights, medical evacuations and other emergency flights with the highest of sa standards; Ensuring that AMREF operates and com with all laws, rules and regulations of all authorities of each country in which it operates; Perform functional checks or maintenanc flights when required and perform other duties as may be required. Assist in matters related to flight operat including flight missions in the areas of operation. Qualifications competencies: The ideal candidate will be a holder of K Grade C+ or equivalent, a valid Kenya Commercial Pilots License (CPL) with a m engine instrument rating. S/he must have a minimum of 3000 hou 2000 hours of which must be in comman with 200 hours in command in Cessna 2 Due to the multi-tasking policy of the organization, experience in technical rec will be of benefit. The person should po a good understanding of Kenya Civil Avi Regulations (KCARS) and be familiar wit trend and monitoring systems both withi maintenance and within operations. The candidate should have experience i African bush flying and understanding o airstrips. IT knowledge, excellent writte oral communication skills, good interpers skills and attention to detail are mandat The ideal candidate must be a team pla dependable, demonstrate problem solvin decision making skills and have a positiv attitude.
