Job Description:
This person will be performing general administration up to Financial related duties, please do not apply if you do not consist of sufficient experience in the duties listed below. Please ensure that your experience is also properly indicated on your CV
Please dont apply if you have not completed a Bcom Accounting Degree- you will not be considered if still studying
Duties: (include but are not limited to the following)
Processing on Pastel
Payment of claims to customers
Online banking and payments
Reconciliations
Ensure company risk management and Internal Controls maintained and updated
Prepare Financial Statement
Financial Reporting and budgeting
Journals and process to Trail balance and Balance sheet
Oversee creditors and debtors
Allocate payments and oversee the vat function
Assist the Financial Manager with other financial functions
Advise on cost saving measures
Skills and Educational Requirements
2 - 3 years experience in a accounting or Senior Bookkeeping position
Experience in a Financial Services or claims environment is essential
BComm degree is essential
Excellent communication abilities
Effective time management skills
Strong personality and management experience
